Social Skills Training

Social Skills Training (SST) is a structured, supportive intervention designed to help individuals develop and strengthen everyday interpersonal skills. It focuses on areas such as communication, active listening, emotional regulation, cooperation, problem-solving, and building healthy relationships with others.

Sessions provide a safe and guided environment where participants can practice new skills, role-play real-life situations, and receive constructive feedback. The aim is to increase confidence in social interactions and improve the ability to navigate both familiar and new social settings.

Social Skills Training also helps individuals recognize social cues, respond appropriately in different contexts, and build more meaningful connections with peers and the wider community. Privacy, respect, and a non-judgmental atmosphere are central to the process.
